Making your own Spanish Paella

The famous dish of Spain, paella is a feast for all the food lovers with the signature saffron hue to its heavenly scent and incredible flavor. In this hands-on class, our instructor will introduce you to the authentic Spanish ingredients that make paella so delicious. Learn how to prepare the sofrito and stock base and share secrets to achieving the allusive socarrat. (Socarrat is the crusty crispy bottom of the paella that becomes caramelized and toasted on the bottom of the pan when it is cooking.) Up to 7 teams of 2/$80.00/team. Each team will get one 16-inch paella pan to take home.
