Columbus Area Local Food Summit

Local food success doesn’t just keep food dollars in the community, it keeps farmers farming and protects agricultural lands. It makes fresh food available from known producers. It helps a community to feed itself. For those interested in developing our local food system - producers, buyers, consumers - this is a day of inspiration and discussion. We will find out what’s already happening, and consider next steps together. Whether you are a buyer, consumer or producer, if you are working toward a vibrant local food economy - or want to - come! Discussions will include buyer best practices, producer best practices, local food success and more. Location: 739 22nd St., Columbus.
