For Small Farmers with Big Plans

Registration is open for the 5th Annual Indiana Small Farm Conference scheduled for March 2-4, 2017, at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex, Danville, Indiana.

The conference features classroom workshops on topics like hops production, on-farm food safety, livestock production and farm marketing, as well as keynote speakers (farmer and author Eliot Colemen and farmer Blaine Hitzfield) and a film screening (The Market Gardener’s Toolkit). The goal of the event, organizers say, is to provide information and networking opportunities that will foster the growth, diversity and sustainability of farming in Indiana.

To register, visit the registration site, which provides details about the conference agenda, Thursday workshops, the annual poster session, sponsorship and trade show exhibitor opportunities, and more. Contact the conference chair, Michael O’Donnell, at (765) 284-8414 or modonnel@purdue.edu with questions about the conference.
